The Global Power and Propulsion Society hosts a number of Turbomachinery related technical conferences, forums, and workshops each year.

In the Canada, Europe, and China, GPPS has hosted 13 successful conferences and forums with over 2,000 attendees from across the globe.

The topics of GPPS technical conferences range from Aviation to Energy Systems. Conferences specifically address Turbomachinery, Combustor & Combustion, Axial Compression, Instrumentation & Testing, Unsteady Flows, Thermal Cycles and Engine Cycles and Energy Systems & Carriers. GPPS is also on the forefront of discussing Energy Transition & Renewables.

At GPPS Conferences you will have the opportunity to hear from some of the leading voices in the turbomachinery industry on the latest technological advances and future trends.

Over the years we have hosted 6 European Technical Conferences in both Zurich and Greece with many papers being submitted to our International Turbomachinery Journal.

During our conferences and Forums attendees have plenty of opportunities to network with fellow engineers and scientists working in turbomachinery from around the world.

Whether you are looking to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in turbomachinery technology or want to network with like-minded professionals, GPPS Society conferences are a great choice.

Upcoming Events in 2023

We are already looking forward to our 2023 Events and are excited to announce that our next conference will address the topic of LNG Energy. The two day event will take place on February 13th and 14th and will be of particular interest to investors and engineers who are already working in this field, as well as students who are interested in moving into the field of LNG. The Workshop will be hosted by Matt Taher, an LNG specialist at Bechtel Energy, and Professor Reza Abhari, a Strategic Advisor and Professor at ETH Zurich.

This event will be followed by our Annual Turbomachinery Forum, which over the years has proved to be a valuable platform for discussing the latest developments in the Turbomachinery field and networking with industry professionals from all over the world. We hope that you will join us for what promises to be an exciting and informative event.

Folling these events we are currently confirming dates for our Turbomachinery Asia Technical Conference. Dates and location will be published soon.
