Our GPPS events in 2025 are designed to bring todays turbomachinery topics to the foreground and allow you to develop your knowledge and personal network within our energy systems and community.
Events coming up in 2025
Following our recent Turbomachinery Forum for Energy and Aviation event in January, and hosting the Turbomachinery Seminar in Zurich, we are excited to announce our next event – the Turbomachinery Technical Conference in Shanghai, China, scheduled for September. Abstract submissions for the conference have closed however in exceptional cases we will consider extending the deadline.

GPPS is proud to announce the return of its Technical Conference to Asia, hosted once again in Shanghai, China. This annual event continues to serve as a leading platform for researchers, engineers, and industry experts to exchange ideas and showcase the latest advancements in turbomachinery.
While abstract submissions have officially closed, we understand that extraordinary circumstances may arise. If you have a compelling research contribution, we encourage you to reach out regarding a potential extension. The volume and quality of submissions this year have been remarkable, and we anticipate an exceptional lineup of research papers aligned with our 2025 theme: Next-generation power & propulsion systems—efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.
As always, the GPPS Conference will feature a combination of high-quality technical presentations, interactive discussions, and unparalleled networking opportunities. In addition to our research paper sessions, we are curating an exciting agenda of keynote speeches and panel discussions, featuring some of the most influential figures in the turbomachinery sector.
