Jinzhang Feng
Engineering Director at Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC)
Dr. Jinzhang Feng is the engineering director of the Widebody Engine program at Commercial Aero Engines, Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC CAE.). Previously he was the president of AECC CAE. Dr. Feng was an aero-thermal manager of Pratt & Whitney, and later, a fellow of aerodynamics of United Technologies Research Center (UTRC), and the general manager of UTRC China. He has broad experience in computational fluid dynamics, aeroacoustics, aero-elasticity, combustion instability, and turbomachinery design and analyses. He is a recipient of the prestigious “Friendship Award” of the Chinese government in 2014.

Li He
Chair Professor of Computational Aerothermal Engineering, Dept of Engineering Science, Oxford University
Li He earned BSc & MSc at Beihang University (1982, 1984), and PhD at Cambridge University (1990). He remained at Cambridge as a postdoc and a college research fellow until 1993. He had spent 15 years in Durham University as Lecturer (1993), Reader (1998) and Professor (2000). At Durham, he had become Head of Thermo-fluids and later Director of Research for School of Engineering, before taking up the Rolls-Royce/Royal Academy Engineering Chair at Oxford in 2008.

Pericles Pilidis
Head – Thermal Power & Propulsion, Cranfield University
Since his Ph.D. and MBA at Glasgow University, Prof. Pilidis has specialized in gas turbine design, performance, operations, maintenance, technoeconomic and environmental aspects of gas turbine engines for air, land, and sea. He started his career in the maintenance base of an airline, focusing on performance testing and maintenance policies. Subsequently, Prof. Pilidis moved to Cranfield University, where he is currently Head of Thermal Power & Propulsion. Prof. Pilidis contributes to research and education in the gas turbine arena. He is one of the co-creators of the Cranfield TERA (Technoeconomic Environmental Risk Analysis) philosophy. His research has encompassed the use of Hydrogen as a carbon-free fuel for aviation for more than two decades. Prof. Pilidis is the former Vice-President and current UK representative for ISABE, Ex-Board Member of the European Turbine Network, and the former Vice-Chairman and Chairman of the ASME Cycle Innovations. Prof. Pilidis speaks English, Spanish, Greek, and French. He has supervised 250+ Postgraduate students.

Xiaofeng Sun
Professor of Aerospace Engineering, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA)
Xiaofeng Sun is Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (BUAA) where he directs the Fluid and Acoustic Engineering Laboratory. His principal fields of interest include unsteady flows in turbomachines, vortex dynamics, and aeroacoustics. The work consists of experimental, theoretical, and computational investigations into vortex sound interactions, flow stabilities in compressors, control of blade flutter, and acoustic design of aero-engine nacelles as well as various strategies for fan and compressor noise reduction.
