Michel Kneller is an experienced project manager and head of the hydrogen business area within ILF Consulting Engineers.
He has successfully managed and coordinated project teams on numerous projects in an international environment, from early conceptual studies to the actual implementation/ detailed design. Whilst having worked in various industries such as railways, marine propulsion as well as oil & gas, Mr. Kneller is currently focusing entirely on projects related to the hydrogen value chain. In particular, he is currently managing the design for a project supported by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) of the European Union. Here, Mr. Kneller is managing the design team for a project aiming to demonstrate the use of a 4MW pressurized alkaline electrolyser for grid balancing services. In addition, he has managed various studies investigating the large scale production, transport and storage of hydrogen in an international setting.
