Matt Taher

Matt Taher is a Bechtel Fellow and Technology Manager at Bechtel Energy’s LNG Technology Center in Houston, Texas. A recognized leader in LNG technology and turbomachinery applications, he is closely engaged with the latest technological advancements and emerging trends across the global LNG industry, including electrification, decarbonization, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Matt is an ASME Fellow, a member of the GPPS Advisory Board, and a frequent speaker at major international energy conferences.

As Chair of the GPPS LNG Workshop 2027, he will bring together industry leaders, technology providers, investors, EPCs, operators, and experts to discuss the latest developments shaping the future of LNG.
