GPPS Seminar 2026
The 2026 Turbomachinery Seminar is set to take place on January 12–13, 2026, bringing together leading experts in the field to share their knowledge and insights. This year’s lineup features familiar faces—Tim Allison, Klaus Brun, Rainer Kurz, and Matt Taher—joined by Kelsi Katcher from SwRI, adding fresh perspectives to the discussion.
The seminar offers attendees a comprehensive overview of the working principles of turbomachinery used across a variety of industrial applications. From gas compressors and gas turbines to steam turbines, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how these machines operate. Key topics include thermodynamics, aerodynamics, rotordynamics, and control concepts, all aimed at helping engineers and industry professionals appreciate the constraints and opportunities these technologies present.
Applications for turbomachinery are wide-ranging and increasingly critical in today’s energy landscape. These machines are essential for power generation, gas compression across upstream, midstream, and downstream operations—including LNG—and are at the forefront of solutions in carbon reduction, the hydrogen economy, and CO₂ capture, transport, and sequestration.
Whether you are an engineer, researcher, or industry professional, the 2026 Turbomachinery Seminar promises to provide valuable insights into the latest technologies, trends, and challenges shaping the future of industrial turbomachinery.
