We are pleased to announce that the full proceedings of the 2025 GPPS Shanghai Technical Conference (held September 4–6) are now published online — they are open access and free to download for all.

Highlights of the Shanghai 2025 Conference

The GPPS Shanghai25 conference convened over 250 participants from industry, academia, and research institutions to explore advances in power and propulsion technology.

The event featured keynote addresses, panel sessions, and technical presentations centered around themes of efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in next-generation propulsion systems.

The conference was chaired by Prof. Yan Li (Tongji University) with review oversight by Prof. Dingxi Wang (Northwestern Polytechnical University).

GPPS as an organization emphasizes global collaboration and open scientific exchange; the society’s policy encourages dissemination while abiding by laws of host countries and the principle that all conference content is treated as public data.

What’s in the Proceedings

The proceedings include full papers, extended abstracts, and associated supplementary material presented during the conference. Topics range across thermodynamic cycles, materials, aerodynamics, computational methods, experimental propulsion systems, and related multidisciplinary research.
