GPPS Energy & Aviation Forum 2024

Energy systems forum 2024 for experts in europe and across the world

The Path to NET ZERO – Transforming & decarbonizing energy systems and propulsion

Decarbonization of energy supply and aviation is gaining increasing momentum through governmental policies and growing financial support to adapt technologies. Today’s energy supply is overwhelmingly fossil based though. The GPPS Energy Forum 2024 will address the transition to a decarbonized energy supply and air travel. It will revolve around a regional look ahead to transform towards NET ZERO with an affordable and secure energy supply. The pace of this transformation is set by what economies can tolerate and what technologies can enable us to achieve in the next decades.

Hydrogen is central, and the Forum will address all its challenges to produce, transport, and use. Reduction of emissions in air travel requires sustainable fuels and adapted propulsion designs. Energy availability will have to be ensured through suitable storage systems & decarbonization processes to cope with an ever-increasing demand for affordable energy.

Panel session discussing latest developments in energy and aviation

The Forum embraces looking at current and future technologies with an outlook for their deployment. The Forum also discusses the financial point of view and highlights the possible mechanisms to support this transition.

This Forum is the perfect networking opportunity, where you can meet other professionals from the energy and propulsion industry on a personal level through our various social networking events.
