Panel 1: How to Mobilize the Mind Numbing Financial Means That Would be Needed?
Wednesday, January 15th
09:30 – 11:00 | HG F 30 | Audi Max
Moderator: Christoph Manser (Swiss Life Asset Management)
Panelists:
Michael Baldinger (UBS), Kanat Emiroglu (Alvarez and Marsal), Jing Li (KPMG), Laurence Moore (Credit Agricole CIB)
Abstract:
Achieving net zero is a generational task and will need enormous amounts of capital. The hurdles for projects are high: they need to be attractive to investors and they need to be bankable. How are we doing in mobilizing the money? What needs to improve? Where will government funding be necessary?
