Keynote 3: De-risking and industrializing cutting-edge clean technologies to support the path towards Net Zero

Abstract:
To succeed in the energy transition, technological innovations are crucial. In 2021, the International Energy Agency stated that over 75% of the technologies that will be required to reach carbon neutrality are today not yet mature but under development in research labs or by start-ups. The main role of ENGIE Research and Innovation is to identify, de-risk and scale up these technologies as soon as possible and bring them to the businesses. Keynote will share and discuss several examples of R&D projects on hydrogen, CO2 capture and utilization.
