Jonathan Roncolato

Jonathan Roncolato is Product Engineer at Energy Dome. In his role, he is involved in the business development of the innovative technology for long-duration energy storage patented by the company: the CO2 Battery. Jonathan brings his decade of experience in the energy and renewables sectors and provides his knowledge to the modelling of the technologies’ applications, customized on the different business cases, and supporting the sales team from the technical point of view.

In his previous experience, he worked at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland – Department of Innovative Technologies as a Researcher, focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics and numerical simulation of energy systems. For several years, he collaborated with innovative start-ups, either industrial and academic partners in the fields of Concentrated Solar Power and Energy Storage technologies. He holds a master’s degree in energy engineering and power production at Politecnico di Milano, with a master thesis on the integration of renewables in rural isolated contest in collaboration with ENI, under the supervision of Prof. Ennio Macchi and Prof. Marco Astolfi.
