Konstantinos Kyprianidis is a Full Professor in Energy Engineering and Director of Research Education (Engineering) at Mälardalen University (MDU) in Västerås, Sweden. He previously worked at Rolls-Royce, as well as Chalmers University of Technology and Cranfield University. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed articles and has been bestowed 4 times with the ASME/IGTI best-paper award. His research focuses on robust conceptual design and performance of hybridized gas turbine systems, as well as AI-supported diagnostics, prognostics and controls. He is currently serving as the Chair of the ASME/IGTI Aircraft Engine Committee
