Marino Antonello is a Project Officer since 2016 and a Team Leader in Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking, responsible for hybrid-electric regional and small A/C transport platforms as well as for fast rotorcraft. He received his Aeronautical engineering degree in 2005 at the Federico II University (University of Naples). In 2011, he received his PhD degree in Industry and Innovation Engineering. He has worked as a Design and Structural Engineer in the ‘A/C Configuration and Aerodynamic Loads department’ in Alenia Aeronautica – Torino IT (nowadays Leonardo A/C division), where he was involved as project engineer in projects such as the Sky-X, Tornado, Eurofighter and Neuron. In 2006, he joined the Italian Aerospace Research Centre (CIRA) as test Engineer and Researcher in the ‘Aerodynamic and Icing wind tunnel test’ department. He also participated as a project manager until 2016, in the ‘Aeronautical Vehicles programmes’ department, with main research areas in commuter, helicopters and regional A/Cs.
