Chiyuki Nakamata got Master degree of Physics from Ochanomizu Women’s University in1993.

After her graduation, Nakamata began her career at IHI as a turbine cooling designer and a research engineer in cooling technology. Nakamata gained experience as a research engineer, and then she got doctor degree of Mechanical Engineering from Iwate University in 2007. She participated in Japanese technology development programs and engine development programs in her over 20 years experiences in IHI.

Now she is Deputy Division Director of Research & Engineering Division in Aero-Engine & Space Operations Business area in IHI. She is responsible for technology in aviation area in IHI.
