DAY 1: February 15th,  2023

Once the GPPS Chairman has delivered introductions, we quickly start the busy schedule with our first keynote of the forum, an introduction into the development of Bosnia’s Energy System.

This is followed by Professor Reza Abhari delivering a topical keynote presenting simulations on Russian Gas Shortage and its impact.

Next, Mapna Turbines will be providing an alternative perspective on Energy Supply and Security from the Middle East, with two more keynotes, one for the Energy Supply and security for Europe and additionally for Electricity Security in Switzerland.

Our panel session on Availability, Security, Affordability, and Sustainability of Energy in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and America will then provide an open forum for discussion.

Afternoon keynotes begin with Piero Colonna (TU Delft) talking about Thermal Energy Harvesting with ORC Power Plants, and the potential of Tapping into a Large CO2-Free Power Source. Next, Raymond  Decorvet (MAN Energy Solutions Switzerland) will provide an overview of Heat Pumps. Before we break for coffee Vladimir Navrostky (Siemens Energy) will discuss Industrial gas turbines emission reduction enabled by additive manufacturing.

The afternoon session begins with Albert Kammerer (Ansaldo Energia Switzerland) and will be talking about Energy Storage Technologies: specifically Dome and Battery Storage. Finally our second panel chaired by Renaud Le Pierres (Heatric) will be discussing Energy Storage.

With day one coming to a close friends and colleagues get to enjoy catching up over fine food and entertainment at our Gala Diner. More details will be available soon!

DAY 2: February 16th,  2023

Day two begins with a keynote from Destinus who will be presenting their Eiger Supersonic Aircraft. Volkmar Pflug (Siemens Energy) will present a keynote on Sustainable Aviation Fuel, followed by a panel session to discuss the Opportunities and Challenges of SAF and the bridge between Energy and Aviation worlds.

Finally with speakers from Technip and also Swiss Life Asset Managers we Focus on LNG and Hydrogen, and the Finance of Energy Transition. Energy Availability, Affordability, Security, and Sustainability.
