Keynote: An Overview of ASME PTC 10-2022 on Performance Testing of Axial and Centrifugal Compressors
Abstract:
This keynote speech will cover the significant updates introduced in ASME PTC 10-2022, the globally recognized code for performance testing of axial and centrifugal compressors. The 2022 revision marks a major update after 25 years, featuring key changes such as the adoption of real gas relationships, new polytropic process calculation methods, and updated permissible deviations for Reynolds number effects and applicable correction methods. This session will delve into the implications of these updates and their impact on modern compressor performance evaluation.
