Award Nominations Form

The Global Power and Propulsion Society is pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2023 Awards. The awards recognise and reward those individuals that have made notable or outstanding achievements in, or contributions to the Power and Propulsion Industry.

The GPPS Awards will, this year, be presented at the GPPS Forum24, 2024.

The Early Career Award

Presented annually at the GPPS Forum to one or multiple  individuals  who  contributed  through  outstanding  technology  innovation  and  professional  service  to  the  global  power  and  propulsion  community  within  their  first 10 years of professional activity.  The Early Career Awardees are chosen by the GPPS Executive committee based on nominations from the GPPS membership.

Innovation Award

Presented annually at the GPPS Forum to an individual who contributed through exceptional innovation to the global power and propulsion industry. This can be either be through one single innovation of significant impact or  through  many  years  of  highly  relevant  innovation.  The  Innovation  Award  is  chosen  by  a  committee  made  up  of  leading  industry  and  academic  turbomachinery  professionals and is confirmed by the GPPS Executive Committee.

Lifetime Achievement Award

Presented annually at the GPPS Forum to an individual who has contributed  through  sustained and long term professional service to the global power and propulsion  industry. This contribution should include exemplary service to the community, scholarship and innovation. The service to the community can be in professional societies, teaching, community outreach, professional training, etc. but must specifically focus on service to the propulsion and power community. This individual is chosen by a select group of leaders in the GPPS community.
