GPPS Partnerships

The aim of the Global Power & Propulsion Society is to provide an environment for professionals to meet and exchange results and ideas. Through partnerships we are able to increase your effective network, improving your visibility and helping drive the industry forward. We are pleased to announce that GPPS is an official partner of the Turbomachinery Lab. With many cross-over interests and events we feel our members would greatly benefit from the collaboration.

Texas A&M Turbomachinery Laboratory

The Turbomachinery Laboratory, a member of the Texas A&M University System, proudly continues Texas A&M’s land-grant charter and tradition in Basic and Applied Research, Undergraduate and Graduate Education, and Continuing Education and Professional Workforce Development.

RESEARCH

A variety of fundamental and applied research is performed by Turbo Lab faculty, post docs, and students. This research is sponsored by a combination of government and industry sources through traditional grants and contracts. Unique test rigs and extreme environments are among the many reasons why the Turbo Lab continues to be a leader in turbomachinery-related research.

Another way Turbo Lab faculty and students team up with industry partners is through the Turbomachinery Research Consortium. The TRC is a unique organization of major turbomachinery developers and users who have joined with the Turbo Lab to find answers to important questions through research.

SYMPOSIA & SHORT COURSES

The Turbo Lab impacts the turbomachinery industry by providing a platform for the continuous exchange of ideas among working professionals. These platforms include the Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia and the Asia Turbomachinery and Pump Symposium in addition to various extended short courses held throughout the year.
