Improving the affordability of current systems
The Global Power and Propulsion Society (GPPS) is a volunteer-led international community and forum for rotating machinery professionals in industry and academia. The society aims to provide an environment for professionals to meet and exchange results and ideas, with a specific focus on power generation and propulsion systems.

GPPS Xi'an21
On behalf of the GPPS Executive Committee, we are pleased to announce that the GPPS 2021 technical conference will again be returning to China for the third time. The conference will take place in the city of Xi'an, on 18-20 October 2021.
Two prominent Professors will co-chair the conference, Prof. Zhenping Feng, School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University and also Prof. Hong Yan, School of Power and Energy, Northwestern Polytechnical University.

GPPS Forum21
After the highly successful GPPS Forum20, we are pleased to announce the dates for our next international Forum for Aviation and Energy Systems. The 2021 event will take place on the 1st and 2nd of July 2021 and looks forward to welcoming new and old friends and colleagues from across the globe.
The Forum will comprise high-level plenary sessions, panel discussions, and keynotes to create an environment facilitating in-depth interaction amongst various stakeholders from business, science and technology, and policy sectors. With a focus on the transformation of our societal infrastructure, our events are reactive to the changes in the world around us, facilitating the exchange of ideas by thought leaders while expanding the network of participants.
