Events

The Global Power and Propulsion Society organises and provides support for a number of global and regional conferences, forums, workshops and lectures throughout the year.

GPPS Chania20

The next GPPS European Technical Conference will be held in Chania, Crete on the 7th - 9th September 2020. The event is designed to bring together technical paper presenters, allowing young academic talents to present and discuss their research work.

The primary goal of the conference is to bring together researchers in industry, academia and governments to hear the latest developments in turbomachinery technologies. The conference focus is on strengthening the interactions between academic and industrial turbomachinery research to enable a greener future.

GPPS Forum21

After the highly successful GPPS Forum20, we are pleased to announce the dates for our next international Forum for Aviation and Energy Systems. The 2021 event will take place on the 12th and 13th of January 2021 and looks forward to welcoming new and old friends and colleagues from across the globe.

The Forum will comprise high-level plenary sessions, panel discussions, and keynotes to create an environment facilitating in-depth interaction amongst various stakeholders from business, science and technology, and policy sectors. With a focus on the transformation of our societal infrastructure, our events are reactive to the changes in the world around us, facilitating the exchange of ideas by thought leaders while expanding the network of participants.
